Viscosity Flow Cups
Viscosity flow cups are anodized aluminum devices that are very easy to use, featuring a stainless steel orifice, and are used to measure the consistency of paints, varnishes, and similar products. The measured kinematic viscosity is usually expressed in seconds (s) of flow time. If standards stipulate methods, the flow time can be converted into centistokes (cSt) using the Elcometer ElcoCalc™ mobile application.
Calibration certificates that provide traceability and ensure that each viscosity cup has been individually tested and meets the standards are also available.
These cups can be supplied separately or with an adjustable stand that includes a precision level and an overflow glass plate.
